

Broccoli Salad with Bacon & Raisins

Directions
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy then chop into bits.
- Chop the broccoli and blanch in simmering water for 2 minutes. Set aside to cool and add to salad bowl.
- Chop your red onion and set aside.
- Add raisins, crispy bacon bits, chopped onion, and sunflower kernels.
- Make the salad dressing by combining in a separate bowl, mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar.
- Pour salad dressing and combine with broccoli mixture. Stir well. Refrigerate until serving.

- 6 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
